Best for D Composting Combo Kit
This Best for D Composting Combo Kit is designed to enhance the composting process by providing essential microorganisms and nutrients that help break down organic waste efficiently.
It includes PSB, Riz, and D Composting Powder, each tailored to speed up the decomposition of wet garbage and create nutrient-rich compost for your plants.
What’s Included:
PSB (500 gm Powder): Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria, which helps in breaking down organic matter and makes phosphorus more available to plants.
Riz (500 gm Powder): A mix of beneficial microbes that help decompose organic waste efficiently and accelerate the composting process.
D Composting Powder (500 gm Powder): A specialized composting agent that aids in the decomposition of organic material, turning waste into rich compost.
How to Use (Step-by-Step):’
1. Prepare the Composting Pile
Start by collecting wet garbage (vegetable peels, fruit scraps, leaves, grass clippings, etc.) and placing it in a compost pile or bin. Ideally, the pile
should be in a well-ventilated area with good air circulation to help the decomposition process.
2. First Dose of Composting Agents
For every 50 kg of wet garbage, add the following composting agents:
50 gm of PSB powder
50 gm of Riz powder
50 gm of D Composting powder
How to Apply:
Sprinkle the powders evenly over the compost pile.
Mix them into the pile thoroughly, ensuring the agents are well-distributed throughout the wet garbage. Use a rake or shovel to turn the materials for even mixing.
3. Allow Decomposition for 15 Days
After applying the composting agents, leave the pile to decompose for 15 days. During this period, the microorganisms in the powders will break down the organic matter in the garbage, turning it into compost.
Maintain Moisture: Keep the compost pile moist but not too wet. If the pile becomes too dry, add water to maintain the moisture level.
4. Turn the Compost Pile (After 15 Days)
Turn the pile after 15 days by moving the compost from the bottom to the top and vice versa. This helps aerate the pile and ensures that all organic matter is exposed to the microbes for continued decomposition.
Turning the pile also helps to speed up the process by providing oxygen to the microorganisms that are breaking down the organic waste.
5. Repeat the Dose and Mix Again
After turning the pile, apply the same dose of 50 gm each of PSB, Riz, and D Composting powder.
How to Apply: Again, sprinkle the powders evenly over the compost and mix thoroughly to ensure proper distribution.
6. Allow Decomposition for Another 15 Days
Let the pile decompose for another 15 days. During this period, the composting agents will continue to break down the organic waste into nutrient-rich compost.
7. Final Turning and Harvesting the Compost
After the second 15-day period, turn the compost again and check its progress. The compost should now be dark, crumbly, and have an earthy smell.
If the compost is fully decomposed, it’s ready for use in your garden. If not, you may need to repeat the turning process and the application of composting agents until the pile has fully decomposed.
