Contains all nine vital amino acids. Contains plenty of antioxidants like carotenoids and chlorophyll along with other phytonutrients such as lutein, zeaxanthin and beta-carotene.
Prepare: Fill a shallow tray with a soilless growing medium like coco coir or peat moss.
Sow: Scatter Amaranthus green seeds evenly on the surface of the medium.
Cover: Lightly press the seeds into the medium and cover with a thin layer of soil.
Water: Mist the soil surface to keep it moist, avoiding waterlogging.
Germinate: Place the tray in a warm, well-lit area with indirect sunlight.
Grow: Maintain moisture and provide 12-16 hours of light per day using grow lights.
Harvest: Harvest the microgreens when they reach 2-3 inches tall, usually within 7-14 days.
